Our read/write devices support more than 60 different technologies simultaneously.

We cover a wide range of physical interfaces with evolutionID RFID readers:

On request, we can create customised firmware for the hardware to enable data output of the relevant memory area in the desired format with the required interface. In this case, you get a “plug and play” device.

TWN4 MultiTech 2 LF HF

The classic Elatec device combines RFID (125 kHz, 134.2 kHz and 13.56 MHz), NFC and optional BLE capabilities in one powerful read/write device.
Its excellent read/write performance makes the TWN4 a perfect module when little space and high technical performance are required. For example, in printer solutions, healthcare applications, driver identification, POS integrations, etc.
In addition, the TWN4 MultiTech 2 provides access to the most common host interfaces such as USB, serial TTL or I²C.
These are easily accessible via an on-board connector.

TWN4 Slim

The TWN4 Slim RFID reader is suited for installation in computers and devices, especially MFP printers with optional snap-on and snap-off covers. It supports all common standards for LF and HF technologies and is also the smallest and most compact reader in the TWN4 family. Smartphone ID solutions such as NFC and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) are already integrated and this LEser can be used for mobile use cases in data communication and authentication.

TWN4 Palon Compact Panel

The TWN4 Palon Compact Panel is a versatile device-mount reader for integration with third-party products and devices.
The RFID hardware supports a variety of interfaces, especially RS-485 and RS-232.
The new Palon Compact Panel offers the well-known advantages of the ELATEC TWN4 family and also supports various tools.
The IP65-rated housing and integrated antennas ensure first-class and reliable performance in contactless operation.
An integrated BLE module also supports a variety of mobile identification and authentication solutions.
If you don’t need the BLE functionality, we offer a Light version that does without this feature.

The devices offer the different printing processes “dye sublimation” and “retransfer printing.”
They are suitable for on-site printing of high-quality cards, regardless of whether you want to produce purely optical ID cards, RFID cards for time recording and access control, or cashless payment cards for your company.

The printers are available with a network interface or a USB connection.
Depending on the project, we equip the ID card printers with an RFID encoding unit for electronic personalization, which is controlled directly via our IDfunction ID card creation software.
This allows you to optically print and technically encode the ID cards in a single step – saving you time and reducing risks.

The Matica XID8300 is a versatile, durable, and reliable printer with a proven and renowned printing engine.
Its retransfer printing technology ensures consistent, crystal-clear printing right up to the card edge.

Thanks to this indirect printing process, the XID8300 can also print on various contactless/contact chip card surfaces and on various materials such as PC (polycarbonate), PET, ABS, and PVC.

The Matica XID8300 is available as a single- or double-sided printer with an anti-kink feature to ensure card flatness.
Thanks to its durability (3-year warranty) and high-capacity ribbons (1,000 images), it is ideal for medium- to high-volume card issuance, such as access control cards or student ID cards.

Using the optional UV ribbon, the card can also be provided with a covert security print. To further reduce the risk of card fraud, the XID8300 offers several additional card/data security options, including IPSEC for encrypted data transmission, as well as magnetic stripe, contact chip, and contactless encoding options. The Matica XID8600 is a high-quality printer perfect for the most demanding ID programs requiring high-resolution, high-security printing. Its 600 dpi printhead delivers excellent image quality combined with security printing, including microtext and covert UV printing to increase the number of visual security elements (VSEs) on the card.

Based on the proven XID series print engine, the XID8600 is durable and reliable.
Combined with its high-security printing options, high-capacity ribbons (1,000 images), and the ability to print on durable card materials such as PC and ABS, it is ideal for high-volume, secure ID cards, including government-approved ones, including driver’s licenses and national ID cards.

The XID8600 can be customized to meet specific project requirements. Internal and external modules can be added depending on the application. Since demanding ID applications typically require double-sided personalization, the standard model of the XID8600 is equipped for duplex printing thanks to the factory-integrated reversing module. A 200-card hopper and an output tray (for cards with a standard thickness of 0.76 mm) are also integrated. For cards with security technology, an inline contact or contactless chip encoder and a magnetic stripe encoder are also available.

The XID8600 can be seamlessly connected to single- or double-sided inline lamination modules (Maticas ILM-LS or ILM-DS) to

The IDprinter family offers the option of borderless ID card printing using a high-quality retransfer process and, optionally, electronic encoding in a single pass using an integrated encoder.
The IDprinter K30 and K30D print cards at a resolution of 300 dpi.

The K60D model features an even higher resolution of 600 dpi, which reproduces even the most complex graphics with great detail. The K30D and K60D models are equipped with a flip station that allows double-sided card printing in a single pass, thus reducing production times and avoiding errors.
