Sales Manager (m/f/d) – Security & Access Control Solutions for SMEs (DACH)
Full-time position | Location: Remote (preferred) or in the office in Germany
Your core task
You will be responsible for the entire sales cycle for our PIAM, ID card management, and security automation products – with a clear focus on SME customers (up to 5,000 employees) in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
Your main tasks
Acquiring new customers
- Generate and qualify leads (cold calling, partners, events, inbound inquiries)
- Identify decision-maker groups
- Identify issues surrounding physical security, identity lifecycle, and compliance
- Deliver customized demos and ROI analyses
- Accompany stakeholders through to completion
Key performance indicator -based sales
- Establishment and maintenance of a 4× pipeline coverage with CRM-supported deal structure
- Achievement of targets for ARR and win rate (≥ 25% in the SME segment)
- Reporting of funnel speed, deal sizes , payback period and CAC:LTV ratio
Scaled outbound sales
- Planning and implementation of automated campaigns (e.g. Apollo.io, HubSpot , Outreach)
- Use of databases such as Cognism and Lusha to address ≥ 500 target contacts/month
- Develop A/B-tested campaigns for the DACH target group
Security evangelism
- evolutionID as a thought leader in the area of PIAM & physical security (e.g. webinars, podcasts, trade fairs such as SicherheitsExpo Munich, it-sa , etc.)
- Feedback to product development regarding SME-specific requirements
Existing customers & upsell
- Identify cross-selling opportunities (e.g. visitor management, time recording, secure print)
- Ensure ≥ 95% customer retention through QBRs and success plans
This is what you bring with you
- 3+ years of experience in B2B SaaS or IT software sales with a focus on SMEs in the DACH region
- Proven success in selling security, identity, or compliance solutions (e.g., PIAM, ID card creation, RFID, smart cards)
- Successful track record of:
- ≥ €600,000 new ARR per year in the SME segment
- ≥ 60% of the pipeline generated from own outbound – Proficient in tools such as HubSpot , Salesforce, Apollo.io, Cognism , LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Knowledge of GDPR, ISO 27001, and physical security standards for SMEs
- Fluent in German (native speaker) and fluent in English; French is an advantage
- Independent, structured way of working and willingness to travel (~20%)
Nice-to-Have
- Network in the facility management, security integrator, or IT system house environment with a focus on SMEs
- Experience with SCIM, SSO, REST APIs for integrating ID card management into HR or ERP systems
- Knowledge of ID card printers or mobile access solutions
