evolutionID impressively demonstrates how the seamless integration of AI-supported data enrichment into an existing access control system can be implemented with its IDfunction ID management software at a leading commercial vehicle manufacturer. This flexible system enables electronic and optical ID card personalization at multiple international locations and synchronizes in real time with the dormakaba Matrix.
The solution is already being successfully deployed at several Daimler Truck AG locations across Europe.
By combining optical personalization and electronic coding in a single step, the system sets new standards in efficiency. Communication takes place via a bidirectional interface, through which the dormakaba Matrix access control system transmits the personal data imported from Oracle HCM (Human Capital Management) to evolutionID’s ID function ID card management solution.
In this proven system, the data is comprehensively enhanced, including with a high-resolution image of the person. The integrated, AI-supported image capture software handles the capture and processing, with cropping, alignment, and background removal performed precisely and automatically. The expanded data set then returns seamlessly to the dormakaba Matrix system. In this way, IDfunction manages the entire lifecycle of each ID card with the utmost efficiency and precision.
